This boy is so attentive!  He hangs on your every word, and all the cute pics of him with his head cocked only required us to say his name!  Cody is a purebred Pomeranian in full coat with white and sable coloring, about 7 to 8 lbs., and 1 year old.  He is very submissive so will need a kind, patient human.  He gets along great with other dogs, is very playful in fact with them, and just is a very kind, gentle soul.  Cody would love a person or family who is home most of the time, and a another young, small dog to play with.  Please do your research on Poms before applying if you have never had one.  Some people are under the impression that they don't shed, but they do a massive shedding twice a year.  Cody's coat is very thick and will require regular grooming, preferably at a professional groomer.  Cody's adoption fee is $350 and includes all medical. As we have gotten to know Cody, we would prefer that he be adopted to a home without children.  He is not aggressive but very, very timid, and therefore noisy kids or teens would not be appropriate for him.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
