Sarah is the sweetest, gentlest little dog you could want.  We think she might be a shih tzu mix but with what? Not sure, maybe jack russell terrier.  But she has the sweet disposition of a shih tzu.  She would love a quiet home where she could feel safe and loved.  She's shy in new situations so will need a patient, understanding human.  Sarah was given up by her elderly owners who could no longer care for her.  Her adoption fee is $250 and includes all medical.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see side menu for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING. 

We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it. This application has been developed using over 25 years of experience.
