Koda is a Pom/Spitz mix, about 20 lbs., 5 years old,  but such a wonderful guy.  He's a beautiful parti-sable in color, and loves, loves, loves to play ball.  He's active, very agile and loves to be on the go.  Koda would love an active family who could take him on long walks or hikes.  Koda is used to having someone who is around most of the day and loves to go in the car.  He is reported by his foster mom to be very obedient and listens well.  Once Koda's fur grows out, he will have a gorgeous coat.  Koda gets along well with other small dogs and cats.   Koda would do well with teen agers but no young children, please.  . Koda's adoption fee is $250 and includes all medical.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see menu under "adoption info" for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING. 

We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it. This application has been developed using over 25 years of experience. It helps the adopter and us to make only the beginning of a good match; please be advised that if you do fill out the application, you may not be suitable for the dog you are applying for OR you may not meet our adoption requirements.
