Billy has a new forever home with a retired couple in the Bay Area, who are very experienced in rescuing dogs, since they've had rescues all their lives - some for only a few months because they needed a quiet home to die in peace of cancer or some other ailment.

This couple is very committed to our mission and will spend all their time with Billy to overcome some of the obstacles he's had to face in his short life. Isn't he a cutie pie! An AKC purebred shih tzu with papers, this 18 mos. old, 13 lb. guy would love a new home for the new year.  He's full of energy, a total lovebug, not a mean bone in his body.  Everybody is his best friend. 

He would love a family who could cuddle with him, take him on long walks, and love him for always.  Kids under 5 are o.k. as long as they are respectful, gentle and loving.  This is one little dog who wouldn't defend himself if backed into a corner by a 2 year old throwing toys at him.
