Bruno is going to live on the California coast. His new mom is going to take him to work with her (she is a receptionist on a farm!) so he won't be lonely. He'll have a kitty to play with and a chihuahua friend, and a human teen ager brother.
Yes, this guy is really the brother to Amos - but maybe there is a little dachshund in there?
He's
a lovable little guy who is waiting for another small dog or two to be
his companion. He's a little shy of people at first, until he gets to
know you. Then you're his best friend. But he really loves to play
with the other dogs and can hold his own and give it back to even the
small adult dogs. He's not shy of them!
His ears might
eventually stand up all the way like a chihuahua. He wieghs about 7
lbs. and will grow to be about 15 lbs or more. He is doing
exceptionally well with his housetraining and doesn't soil his crate or
kennel. He goes outside when the door is left open and he's in the
house.
Bruno's adoption fee will be $100, which will include
the first two distemper shots and wormings. The adopter will be
responsible for his neuter and must prepay and provide proof at the vet
of their choice.
We are currently accepting applications for this guy but he will be available for adoption in 3 weeks.

Barbara,
So...the fist night I put Bruno in the
crate in the next room for bed and he yipped, barked, howled and whined
for about 20 minuets and then everything got quiet. I thought Great! He
learns fast! However, when I got up in the morning I found my 18 year
old son had taken Bruno out of the crate, put
him in his puppy bed by my chair, laid down on the floor beside him,
covered him with his blanket and slept with him all night like that.
Soooo cute! The next night I put his bed in my bedroom covered him with
my sweatshirt, dropped my bathrobe on the floor by my bed and went to
sleep. I woke up at 6am as I always do on a workday and looked over to
find Bruno had moved my bathrobe into his bed
and was burrowed beneath it. He loves going to work with me and
everyone has fallen in love with him. He is still very shy but he is
exposed to 21 people in the office everyday. He is going to the vet
tomorrow for a checkup, nail clip and to make our appointment for the
next shot. I can not believe what a great dog he is! He is so well
mannered, mellow, house trained already and knows what no means. I am
teaching him no in sign language so I don't have to say it while I'm
answering the phones at work. He is so smart and learns real fast. I
love him so much!!! Thank you for rescuing him. NinaYes, this guy is really the brother to Amos - but maybe there is a little dachshund in there?
