Twizzle is a very active, 2 year old purebred, 5 lb. yorkie who is looking for the an active home.  He also would love a young, doggie companion to play with.  He seems to get along well with male and female dogs.  If you know yorks, they are a tough little breed, requiring attention, exercise, and grooming on a regular basis.   Most yorkies get along well with kids, and we suspect that this guy would too.  Not sure about cats.  Probably would want to harass them into playing.   When you carry him around like a little baby, he is calm and sweet and happy.   He would love to go bye-bye in the car.  Our ideal home for Twizzle would be with an active family, with older children, and hopefully a stay at home mom or dad.  To be considered for this sweet boy, please fill out our online application.  $400 adoption fee includes all medical.  Twizzle is housetrained but might need a period of readjustment.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
