A STARVING HORSE, LEFT TO DIE

Bob has been adopted by the wonderful man who stepped up to the plate and has been coming over to his foster to help out. John is truly a savior and Bob really loves him!
Meet Bob George. He's lucky to be here, because if one of our volunteer's hadn't found him, he would have been dead in a couple of days. He was dumped, left to fend for himself, with no water and over 105 degree heat.
Someone probably couldn't afford to feed him or care for him and either didn't want him to die on their property or figured he could fend for himself. Obviously not. He is so skinny as you can see from the pictures. He also has a punctured eye - who knows how that happened.
He is a wonderful horse, just grateful for the basic care being given to him. Very calm, but then he doesn't have too much energy at this point to do more than stand.
We would really appreciate any help we can get with this horse. The local feed store is accepting donations for him and of course we will accept directly any help anyone is willing to give. Please help this guy out - he deserves it. Call 530-276-9364.
