just wanted to give a report on our sweet new addition to our family.  Shadow (Colin) just moved in and stole our hearts away.  We took him on his first road trip with us to Washington state last month and he was a perfect traveler.  He isn't to excited about getting in the car now but I'm sure it won't be long until he's ready.  He doesn't like to be very far from me so his new name actually fits him.  He sleeps on our bed and tries to swipe dad's pillow every chance he gets.  He just got his summer haircut so looks a little bare but doesn't seem to miss all the hair.  It was hard to keep it from getting matted!!  Much love from the Freemans' and thanks again for letting us adopt him.

Sincerely
Louise

Colin is a wonderful, mini poodle with the most engaging personality. He is happy, social and just melts your heart. He is very affectionate and wants to give all his love, all the time. Colin came from a situation where he was kept outside most of the time. He came to us with LOTS of burrs in his coat, which is why he has such a funny haircut for a poodle. Most of his topknot had to be cut off to get the burrs out. So we kind of just left him in a kennel cut until the rest of his hair grows out. Colin would love a home with another small dog to play with and where his humans were home most of the time. He is only 8 mos. old, so still has many of the puppy behaviors and energy, so he would need an owner who would be able to handle that. He is very intelligent and a quick learner, as are most poodles, so with time and committment he will make an exceptional companion.
