Brutus is an AKC 6 year old Maltese who had to be given up by the breeder because she had too many animals.  Brutus is a lovable little guy, who is learning how to be a housedog (he was kept outside 24/7 before).   Right now, he's learning that laps might be ok for sitting in, but normally he prefers to snuggle a little and then go off and lay by himself.  He would prefer another doggie companion to hang out with and to help him feel secure.  He's a little shy, but sweet and will need patience to build trust.  Great physical shape and has had a dental cleaning.  Will make an excellent companion after relationship is built.  Teen agers ok, but no younger kids.  Needs quiet home, prefers female human companion.
