Yes, Oreo's mom is a purebred mini poodle (he was born right here in rescue) but dad was obviously a wire hair jack russell although we don't know for sure.  He was the only one of the litter that survived.  He will need a family with lots of energy to make sure he isn't bored, with many walks and hikes and playtime.  Another dog to play with would be perfect!  He is 8 weeks old and ready to go to his new home.  His adoption fee is $150 and we will require that his neuter be prepaid at the vet of your choice.  For more info call his foster mom Janie at 530-276-9364 or fill out our online app to be considered for this boy.

Adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, flea treatment, heartworm test and preventative, wormings, and all other medical care needed to ensure a healthy dog.  Fees vary, based on the care required, age and needs of the animal.  We rely strictly on our adoption fees since we don't receive any outside funding.
The adoption fees we require do not cover the medical expenses, let alone the daily cost of taking care of the dogs we hope to re-home. Additional expenses are out-of-pocket.
