Elmo is a purebred, neutered 10 year old male.  He needs a new home because his owner wanted him put down even though he is a healthy dog.  He has no known health issues, he is housebroken, is not aggressive with foster homes resident dogs, who tend to ignore him,  He is too interested in the cat and the cat is not happy with him.  He seems to be merely curious, not aggressive.  He is very energetic and needs to be exercised.  My co-workers and I saved his life but now he needs something better for the next stage:  a forever home.  I hope you can find a foster or permanent home.   Obedience training is highly recommended for this dog as he has had no formal training.  Please contact the following person to find out more about Elmo.

Adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, flea treatment, heartworm test and preventative, wormings, and all other medical care needed to ensure a healthy dog.  Fees vary, based on the care required, age and needs of the animal.  We rely strictly on our adoption fees since we don't receive any outside funding.
The adoption fees we require do not cover the medical expenses, let alone the daily cost of taking care of the dogs we hope to re-home. Additional expenses are out-of-pocket.
