Ozzie went to his new home where he will be with his dad who retired, most of the time.  He's going to live on the coast where the weather is cooler (Ozzie liked that part!).  He has a new brother and his new mom adores him.  He's even made friends with one of the 16 year old cats!  Here's what Patricia has to say:

Ozzie is a wonderful, 3 year old, purebred Bichon who needs to have a human who is home most of the time.  He was surrendered to rescue by his owners whose life circumstances changed and he was being left alone too much.  Seeing him suffer, they did the right thing even though it was difficult. 

Ozzie is ok with kids and  other small dogs.  He loves attention and to hang out in your lap or play with toys.  To adopt this boy, please fill out our online application.

Adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, flea treatment, heartworm test and preventative, wormings, and all other medical care needed to ensure a healthy dog.  Fees vary, based on the care required, age and needs of the animal.  We rely strictly on our adoption fees since we don't receive any outside funding.
The adoption fees we require do not cover the medical expenses, let alone the daily cost of taking care of the dogs we hope to re-home. Additional expenses are out-of-pocket.
