Kyah is a special girl - she came into rescue with 5 puppies, raised them and sent them off into the world. Now its her turn! She has come a long way in the time she has been with us, from the scared, mistrustful, emaciated little dog to the confident, playful, healthy dog she is today with that special glow in her eyes. She is full of energy and spunk - never a dull moment. She takes awhile still to warm up to people but in a few minutes she is friendly and wanting to be petted or held. Since she does have quite a bit of energy and really roughhouses when she plays with other dogs, it would be best if she were matched with another dog who is bigger than she is. When she gets going running in the yard there is no stopping her and she loves to chase and wrestle. She would even do well with much bigger dogs. As you can see from one of the pictures, she loves the pug that is her foster mom's, and plays with him. She goes to the dog park frequently and loves it. Please fill out an application to schedule a meet and greet for this great gal.
WE DO NOT ADOPT OUR DOGS TO HOMES WITH UNALTERED PETS...NO EXCEPTIONS! WHY? CLICK ON SPAY/NEUTER ON THE LEFT HAND MENU.
In order to adopt one of these wonderful pups please see the side menu.
Adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, flea treatment, heartworm test and preventative, wormings, and all other medical care needed to ensure a healthy dog. Fees vary, based on the care required, age and needs of the animal. We rely strictly on our adoption fees since we don't receive any outside funding.
The adoption fees we require do not cover the medical expenses, let alone the daily cost of taking care of the dogs we hope to re-home. Additional expenses are out-of-pocket.
