Adelaide is a 3 to 4 year old little girl who is funny, happy and lively.  She can relax with the best of them, though, and really enjoys a lap and cuddling.  She's ok with other dogs who aren't too rambunctious as she is a bit of a princess and just wants to be loved and doted on.  Definitely no large dogs in the home though, for this little girl.  Also, she is scared of kids so that isn't an option for her.

She has the cutest personality and loves to be around "her" people; she is cautious about meeting new people.  She does have some separation anxiety and would do best in a home with someone who is home most of the time and has the time to devote to her., so a stay-at- home mom/dad is a MUST- being gone on a regular basis for a job, even part time, would not be an option for this girl.  We would also prefer that she be an only dog or in a home with only one other small dog.   A secure, fenced yard is also a MUST for this girl - she loves the freedom of being able to go out in the yard periodically throughout the day to play and run.  If it sounds like we're being pretty picky, I guess we are but we really want to make the best match for this little princess.

Adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, flea treatment, heartworm test and preventative, wormings, and all other medical care needed to ensure a healthy dog.  Fees vary, based on the care required, age and needs of the animal.  We rely strictly on our adoption fees since we don't receive any outside funding.
The adoption fees we require do not cover the medical expenses, let alone the daily cost of taking care of the dogs we hope to re-home. Additional expenses are out-of-pocket.
