Gracie is a sweet little Chorkie who is about 8 mos. old and weighs about 5 lbs.  She has a wiry coat and actually resembles a wire haired chihuahua.  She gets along well with other small dogs, but tends to want to be the boss.  We haven't tested her yet with cats, kids or large dogs.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.  We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it.
