Ruby is a very energetic, friendly young girl who really needs an active home.  She, loves to play, and loves other dogs.  She's about a year old.  Unfortunately we think she may have been abused by a man, because she seems very afraid of them.  This is something that could possibly be worked through with training and patience, but there are no guarantees.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.  We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it.
