Flanagan, or Toto, as his foster mom calls him is a super, little Cairn Terrier who came from an out of area shelter.  The shelter needed more room and he had been there quite awhile...  hard to believe, because he is so cute and has such a wonderful personality!  He's very good natured, loves to play with all dogs, big and little, and is happy, social and friendly - in our experience, a typical Cairn.  He has the most gorgeous black brindle coloring with golden brown highlights, although he's only about 7 to 8 mos. old so might lighten up as he gets older.  He's only weighs in at about 7 to 8 lbs.  We think he would do well in any situation, although being a young dog he will needs lots of exercise and hopefully another younger companion to play with.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE.
