Rocket comes by his name honestly - he's a red ball of energy!  He's 2 years old, and about 7 lbs. and would do well in an active family - he loves kids,  He is extremely friendly and gets along well with other small dogs.  He is so photogenic - couldn't stop taking pics of him!  He has gorgeous strawberry blonde fur with golden highlights - and the cutest tail that curls up over his back!  He has the cutest little teddy bear face, with little brown button eyes!

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.  We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it.
