Caris is a super special 6 year old purebred Welsh Terrier.  She came to us in horrible condition:  severe skin infections and emaciated.  Caris loves, loves, loves to fetch the ball, or a toy, or just play with a toy.  She also loves the water - would make a great fly ball prospect or dock jumping dog.  She gets along with the more submissive dogs in her foster home but can be a bit feisty with other alpha dogs.  If you think you would be able to give Caris and home and a job (please read up on the requirements of the Welsh Terrier), this is the dog for you.  Secure, fenced yard a MUST.  Adoption fee is $250 which includes everything.  Older kids only. No cats, birds or other small animals - highly prey driven.  Definitely no chickens, parrots or very small dogs.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.  We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it.
