This sweet little Maltese girl is about 8 years old, 5 lbs, and really needs someone who can enjoy retirement with her.  Shelby has been used badly in her short life and truly deserves a kind, caring human to enjoy the other half of her life.  She has had a full medical and dental done.  Hopefully, someone can open their heart and their arms for this tiny girl. 

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE.
