|
Little Bear is the cutest little, fun-loving pom ever! He's only about 6 lbs, 2 years old, 6 lbs, and waiting for the perfect home. Give him a toy to play with and he growls at it and tosses it around. He's not as yappy as some poms can be, a bit more mellow. He can be very protective of his territory, but in general is friendly and social once he gets to know you. Not sure how he is around kids or cats. Little Bear will require daily walks and exercise. We'd like someone who is home most of the day or at least can provide doggy day care. Little Bear does not get along well with other male dogs.
As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY. NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING. We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it. This application has been developed using over 25 years of experience. It helps the adopter and us to make only the beginning of a good match.
WE DO NOT ADOPT OUR DOGS TO HOMES WITH UNALTERED PETS...NO EXCEPTIONS! WHY? CLICK ON SPAY/NEUTER ON THE LEFT HAND MENU.
In order to adopt one of these wonderful pups please see the side menu under adoption info.
