Mortimer is a very unusual Yorkie mix boy.  He has a sort of dapple coloring, as you can see from his photos - we took some pics of his back so you could see.  He is a very sweet boy, gets along well with most  other dogs ( prefers females) and is friendly and happy.  Morty was surrendered by his owner who could no longer take care of him.  He weighs about 9 lbs., and is about 2 to 3 years old. 

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE.
