Liebschen is a wonderful, 7 year old mini doxie who is soooo sweet and loving.  She was surrendered to us by her owner who could no longer care for her.  Unfortunately, all of her teeth were rotten and had to be pulled.  Liebschen is much happier now that her mouth doesn't hurt so much.  She is able to eat soft food without a problem.  The only thing that is an issue, and its just an issue for us, not for her, is that her tongue hangs out.  To us, though, that makes her even cuter! All you have to do is meet her and you can see what a gentle, loving spirit she is.   Libby loves to be around her people and will make someone a very special companion. 

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.  We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it.
