Misty is the sweetest, gentlest little thing you would every want to meet.  Everyone that meets her falls in love with her.  But Misty has a problem - she has some nerve damage that has caused her to to have problems walking.  Don't get the wrong idea though;  she can move very well, and even plays with the other dogs.  But her one leg doesn't seem to want to obey orders so doesn't function properly.  She gets around just fine with the other three though.   Because of this Misty will need a quiet home with someone home most of the time.  Also no slippery floors and no long walks for this girl.  No large dogs.  We have had several x rays done and our vet has examined Misty.  There is no apparent problem that surgery can fix.  Other than her leg, she is healthy, eats well and is ready to love that special someone!

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
