Aquila is a gorgeous purebred Bichon girl just waiting for the perfect home!  We can't say enough about this girl.  She is pleasant, mild mannered, loving, gets along great with other dogs (even the grumpy ones), loves kids - just a typical bichon.  The only naughty thing she does do, is chase cats.  Aquila was well taken care of during her life, but had to be rehomed because her current owner already had 7 bichons (Aquila was her ex's dog).  Aquila is housetrained, and her previous owner stated that the ideal home for her would be a stay at home mom or dad and older, considerate kids.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see side menu for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING. 

We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it. This application has been developed using over 25 years of experience. It helps the adopter and us to make only the beginning of a good match; please be advised that if you do fill out the application, you may not be suitable for the dog you are applying for OR you may not meet our adoption requirements.
