The old ones deserve homes too...  Sissy was surrendered to us by her owner who could no loger care for her.  She is very tiny, about 4.5 lbs, and still has alot of life left in her as you can see from her pics.   She is 12 1/2 years old and has a gorgeous black coat with red highlights.  She really loves to snuggle and so deserves to have a safe and happy home the rest of her days.  If you think that you can give Sissy that, please fill out our online app.  Sissy's adoption fee is $75.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see side menu for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING. 

We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it. This application has been developed using over 25 years of experience. It helps the adopter and us to make only the beginning of a good match; please be advised that if you do fill out the application, you may not be suitable for the dog you are applying for OR you may not meet our adoption requirements.
