Who's the most handsome dachshund ever?  Woofgang!  Woofie is such a beautiful boy, about 1 year old and weighing in at about 14 lbs., probably a small standard.  He has such a sweet personality, very loving, calm and oh so friendly.  Would be fine with older kids, loves other dogs.   For all you dachshund lovers out there or for someone who wants to own one (and be owned by one) for the first time, this is the guy for you!

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING. 

We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it. This application has been developed using over 25 years of experience.
