Luna is a gorgeous little 6 lb. 4 1/2 year old special needs girl.  Her back legs had two bad knees.  Our wonderful vet was able to fix one but the other couldn't be fixed.  She walks and gets around just fine though.  She doesn't seem to realize that she is handicapped because she is the one who is usually the boss of the other dogs!  She is very loving and sweet with people and will make someone a great pet.  No children please or large dogs.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
