Emmy is a purebred Papillon with the most gorgeous butterfly ears (as you papillon fanciers will know about).  Emmy is 2 years old, 10lbs. and super sweet and loving.  She gets along well with most dogs. She has been raised in a home but her previous owner was unable to keep her.  She has been entrusted to our care and we hope to make the perfect match for her.  Emmy's ideal home would be with someone who is home most of the time and is active enough to give a 2 year old dog the exercise she needs.  Emmy's adoption fee is $450.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see side menu for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING. 

We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it. This application has been developed using over 25 years of experience. It helps the adopter and us to make only the beginning of a good match; please be advised that if you do fill out the application, you may not be suitable for the dog you are applying for OR you may not meet our adoption requirements.
