This handsome 3 year old purebred Brittany Spaniel is such a wonderful guy - someone will be very lucky to have him.  Coop is used to being a pet only, and has never hunted. We will be placing him in a pet only home (he won't even retrieve).  His owners could no longer care for him.  Even though it was kind of warm during the photo shoot, Coop did all we asked for and even more.  He loves attention, is very well behaved but has the energy of a hunting dog so daily exercise is a must.  As you can see he loves to be babied!  Cooper's ideal home would be with someone who is home most of the time and can physically give him the exercise he needs.  Cooper gets along well with everyone, kids, other dogs.  No children under 5 though, as he can be boisterous and might knock a small child down. No cats.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
