This adorable little girl is about 8 to 9 years old, 6 lbs., very active (if you know Poms, you'll know that they are an energetic breed) and as cute as a button! Sally, unfortunately, was being given away in front of our local Wal-Mart. She actually was taken by a homeless couple who felt sorry for her because of the horrible condition she was in. She was a mass of mats and covered with fleas. The couple paid out of their limited funds to have her groomed and then brought her to us. We have had her checked out by our vet and she is in excellent health and ready to be adopted. Her teeth are in good condition, she is only missing two. Sally would love a human companion to take her bye bye in the car and on walks once in awhile. And of course, a lap to cuddle on.
Please read the following carefully before applying:
YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS. PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Please see side menu for an explanation.
As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY. NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it. This application has been developed using over 25 years of experience. It helps the adopter and us to make only the beginning of a good match; please be advised that if you do fill out the application, you may not be suitable for the dog you are applying for OR you may not meet our adoption requirements.
WE DO NOT ADOPT OUR DOGS TO HOMES WITH UNALTERED PETS...NO EXCEPTIONS! WHY? CLICK ON SPAY/NEUTER ON THE LEFT HAND MENU.
