This beautiful purebred toy poodle (with a tail) wants a special home.  Somewhere she can be loved and doted on, a quiet atmosphere, a warm lap, a gentle, kind voice.  Bijou is a very sweet, somewhat shy, lovely 7 lb. toy poodle.  She is only 6 mos. old and doesn't quite have the adult, tight curly coat of the poodle yet.  Bijou would be fine with older children over 10 who are kind and considerate towards animals.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see side menu for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
