This adorable little guy has hopped in his suitcase and is ready for his trip home!  Stevie is about 7 1/2 years old, is a sweet doxie mix who really wants to be loved.  Stevie came to us because his owner was facing a life threatening illness and could no longer care for him.  He is a super friendly little guy, but really would love someone who is home most of the time and who can take him on daily walks and excursions.  He still has quite a bit of puppy energy left!  Stevie gets along great with other dogs, has never been around cats and seems to do well with older kids.  Stevie's adoption fee is $50.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see side menu for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING. 

We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it. This application has been developed using over 25 years of experience. It helps the adopter and us to make only the beginning of a good match; please be advised that if you do fill out the application, you may not be suitable for the dog you are applying for OR you may not meet our adoption requirements.
