Sassy is  a 2 year old  Lhasa girl who came to from an L.A. shelter that was overcrowded.  Sassyis a sweet girl (loves people) but comes with a bit of baggage as many rescue dogs do.  She needs to be an only child as she is aggressive with other dogs and also has some food guarding issues.  Many of us would too, if we lived on the streets.  Its possible in time she may overcome these problems but for now Sassy's ideal home would be with someone who has had experience with dogs, has the time and patience to train her and has no children or other small animals.  She will make someone a lovely companion.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see side menu for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
