Willow is a super sweet Rat Terrier, about 14 lbs., 3 to 4 years old, needs someone who is home most of the time, but also daily long walks.  Willow has a sad story.  She was dumped at a gas station.  The clerk saw the person drive up, put her out of the car and then drive away.  They called animal service but they did not come.  Willow wandered, dodging cars until a kind person who was getting gas drove up and asked why she was running loose.   She went in to ask and found our her story.  She realized that if someone didn't rescue this poor dog she would get hit.  So she took her home and fostered her until she realized she was pregnant.  Not having experience with this sort of thing, she called on us to help out.  Willow's pups have since been adopted but she is still waiting for her forever home.  No young children under the age of 8.  Older kids are ok.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
