Billy is an active 6 year old who will need an active family or person to call his own (he does not act like he is 6 years old; acts more puppyish, around 2 or 3.   He's a lot of laughs though, and will keep someone very entertained.  He is also very curious and wants to know what's going on around him and be involved.  Billy loves other dogs (gets along best with females),  so if you have another dog, Billy will need them to be playful and active.  Loves people, not sure about cats so wouldn't recommend it, older, considerate kids (over the age of 10) ok.  Again:  a very active energetic dog that will need lots of playtime and walks.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
