At your service!  Jose is just too proud and handsome to be homeless!  But that he is and perhaps you can be his next best friend.  This boy is a Pom/Chi mix (Pomeranian and Chihuahua) and is not only great with other dogs, but playful, happy and loves, loves people!  Also kids - as long as they are 8 and or over.  He is about 6 to 7 lbs and 1 1/2 to 2 years old with orange and cream distinctive markings. Jose is a very well-mannered gentleman, much quieter than most of the other dogs at our rescue.  If you want a buddy to relax with, go on hikes with, and love you when you've had a bad day, then Jose is your man.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see side menu for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
