Boomer has been adopted by a deputy sheriff in the Bay Area. She has this to say about Boomer:
ello Barbara, It's been awhile since I have wrote you so I think this is a very good time to do so. It was Nov. 22, 2008 when my life changed. I received my baby Boomer. Well girl we are doing great!!! Boomer is laying by my feet. He's sound asleep and snoring logs. As he sleeps waiting for me to get off my computer. So, let me give you an update. We had a great summer. Boomer loves his backyard, and have plenty of toys to play with. His favorite is a small white teddy bear. I gave it to him on Valentine's Day. It's the first thing he plays with in the morning and the last one he plays with before bedtime. Everyday he gets a doggie cookie and every day he hides his cookie. Every day I find the cookie. I watch him walking around the house with this little cookie in his mouth thinking, and looking very seriously to find the right hiding place. I just watch and giggle because he always hides it right in plain sight. Boomer definite is not a big lover of water. He tolerates his weekly baths, but by no means does he like being wet. We had a few good rainstorms and he really hates getting his feet wet to go out to pee. I would say he is about 80% potty trained. Every time I brag to Lorrie about how good he is doing he seems to prove me wrong ha ha ha. For the past six months when I come home from work he greets me with the cutest "woof" he will let out three sweet "woofs" and jumps up for I can give him a big hug and off he goes running back and forth for me to give another hug and kiss. The first time I heard his voice it was precious. Barbara he is my "Heart". I love him so much. I just want you to know how many "Boomers" you have made happy and found loving homes for so many. Take Care of yourself. Boomer and I will always keep in touch. Cyndie
What a sweetheart! A typical, loving affectionate, people-oriented shih tzu - your best friend is waiting for you. He'd love nothing more than to be a wonderful companion.
He's 3 years old, 16 lbs., black and white and fluffy. He was an owner surrender, with AKC papers and all medical records. This one won't last long.
