This super sweet and submissive boy is a buff purebred cocker spaniel, about 5 years old and 27 lbs.  He and about 30 others were rescued from a filthy backyard breeder and kept in horrible conditions.  Animal control took possession of them and they were kept in the shelter quite awhile before being released for rescue and adoption.  Unfortunately, Donny was not picked but he was patiently waiting and we stepped up to the plate.  Whoever adopts this little boy will get a great companion, someone to hang out with, someone to take walks with and someone who will patiently listen to what you have to say.  Donny is great around other dogs, not sure about cats or kids but because of his submissive personality, he would probably be fine.  No young children under 8 though.  If you think Donny should be your new best friend, you can fill out our online application.  Donny's adoption fee is $300 and includes all medical.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
