Bess is a beautiful 3 - 4 year old purebred Cocker Spaniel, just waiting for the perfect home.  Bess came to us from a puppy mill, where she was kept confined in close quarters and required to produce multiple litters.  With her health unattended to, she developed severe eye and ear infections.  She has been in our care for the past few months, and has recuperated nicely.  She is a happy-go-lucky girl, though, and just wants to love and be loved.  She gets along great with other dogs, probably cats too, although she hasn't been tested.  Would do well in a home with kids over 8 and someone who is home most of the time.  Adoption fee is $350 and includes all medical.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see side menu for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
