Peaches is a purebred Pom who was dumped, along with her sister, in a park.  Probably used as a breeder for many years and then disposed of.  Poor Peaches was so matted and filthy that she had to have her fur shaved.  She is about 12 years old, 6.5 lbs, and deserves a happy retirement.  She has been vet checked, is healthy, has had bloodwork.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see menu under "adoption info" for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
