PRIOR TO ADDING A NEW DOG TO YOUR FAMILY, TRY TO DO SOME RESEARCH ON THE BREED OR MIX THAT YOU'RE INTERESTED IN - VISIT JUSTDOGBREEDS.COM, OR OTHER SITES TO LEARN ABOUT VARIOUS PERSONALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS THAT WILL HELP YOU TO MAKE THE RIGHT MATCH FOR YOUR FAMILY AND LIFESTYLE.
Please read about our adoption policies and procedures before emailing or calling with questions. Keep in mind that the first step towards adoption is to fill out our application. Also, WE DO NOT SHIP!
Adoption fees vary from $100 to $300 depending on the dog and its medical needs. Keep in mind that we don't have access to low cost vet services. We pay full price for our vet care. 99% of our dogs come to us with severe health issues due to neglect and poor living conditions. Most of them have not had vet care or vaccinations until they come to us and most we have to spay or neuter. We try to make these dogs as healthy as possible before releasing them for adoption and sometimes this can take months in our care.
All animals are bathed and groomed before adoption, vaccinated with proof of vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and also are sent home with a leash, collar or halter, toy and food to get you started.
Patrick is an adorable little borkie who has found himself in dire circumstances. First, he was taken to the doggie pound, then rescued by us, but had unfortunately contracted kennel cough which had gone into pneumonia. He's a tough little guy, and has recuperated well.
,
Patrick is a very energetic, 5-7 year old, possibly younger, little guy. He LOVES to play with other dogs. It would be good if he could find a young doggie sister to play with. If not, he'll have to have exercise to work off that energy! He'd be fine with kids over 8. He's had a dental cleaning (yorkies are prone to having dental issues), a hernia repair and has been neutered. He's all healthy and ready to go!
