This 5 to 6 year old shih tzu boy is just perfect, according to his foster mom.  He rides well in the car, is leash trained, loves to play but is not super hyper.  Minds well, loves everybody he meets, gets along well with dogs and cats.  What else could you ask for?  Probably would do well with older children, over 7.  He is a larger shih tzu, about 18 lbs,  His adoption fee is $300 and includes all medical.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see menu under "adoption info" for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
