Bella has been adopted by a wonderful woman in the Ukiah area, who is a friend of another person who previously adopted through us. Lorrie fell in love with her friend's shih tzu, Boomer, and couldn't pass this little girl up. But who could? Look at that face!
Barbara,
Please read about our adoption policies and procedures before calling or emailing with questions. Many of your questions can be answered by reading our information. Keep in mind that the first step toward adoption is to fill out an application. Also, WE DO NOT SHIP!

Barbara,
Bella Mia is a sweet little
girl. She slept most of the drive home. When we stopped in Corning
she got out walked around a little bit with me. When we got back in
the car she sat on my lap for a while and then went to Nana's lap. She
got along great with us. We were really impressed with how calm and
loving she is.
When we got home, I pulled
into the garage. I sent my Mom into the house to greet the dogs. I
went through the side door of the garage and took Bella Mia to do her
business in the backyard. Before long we were discovered and the other
dogs came to met and greet. They smelled each other, then followed
Bella as she checked out the yard further. Then one by one the other
dogs went to do their own thing. It was fun to see Bella Mia bounce as
she ran on the wet grass.
I think it went really well.
I think you did a great job with Bella Mia. She didn't growl or bark.
I was amazed at how well the introduction process worked. When we went
inside, Bella Mia, kept going outside. I finally figured it out. I
sat down on the couch and turned the television on. She then came in
and sat with me. The other dogs then jumped up and sat with us. It
was quite the sight. They had bonded and accepted each other. Right now my lap is completely occupied. Bella Mia and Nikia Mia are laying next to eachother. This makes me so happy!
Thank you for everything,
Lorrie
Barbara,
Bella Mia is such a joy. She
slept between the pillows on the bed. That was a great spot for her to
choose, as my dogs have never gone there. I was surprized to hear her
snore. I was cute.
This morning after I fed her
she ran to me and flung her head back and forth for me to pet her. She
really knows how to put on a good show when she wants attention. She
even started running up and down the hallway with Nikita Mia. It was
fun to see her play.
Today, I went to get her dog
food at the farm supply store. When I left Bella Mia was watching my
car pull out of the driveway. She was sitting on an ottoman that I
have under the front window. (She loves to look or the window. This
morning Nikita Mia and her were both on it watching what was going on
down the street).
I left her at home with the
other two dogs, as a test. They haven't had any problems being
together when I am here with them. They must of did fine without me.
No messes and nothing out of place. To my surprise, she was just as
excited to see me as my own. I picked her up and she just nusseled her
head under my chin. That was when I got the love nibble, you were
telling me about. I think she was just excited though. But I was sure
to tell her, "No," and that was the last one I got.
I am so glad everyone seems happy with the new addition, even Rusty (my Cocker Spaniel).
Bella Mia goes out the doggie door when the others go outside, and she goes out by herself a lot too.
-Lorrie
