This 1 year old super sweet guy is a wonderful dog!  Very full of energy, but loving and mellow when held.  Would do great in a home with kids over 8.  He is a player, loves to attack his toys, and fetch them when thrown.  Loves to stay busy, go on walks, would make a great hiking companion.  Ideal home would be with a young family with a stay at home mom or dad, another young dog to play with, kids who are respectful and dog savvy.  Unknown if gets along with cats.  Adoption fee is $250 and includes all medical.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see menu under "adoption info" for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
