Look at those super cute ears!  Niko is a playful little 8 month old red minpin mix just waiting for the perfect home.  That home would include another young dog to play with, comfortable playing with big dogs as well. Kids are ok, but he prefers well behaved older kids. He is a loving little boy who likes car rides, loves to swim in the creek and loves to be held and cuddle. Mostly house broken. Video is of him at about 5 months old, playing with another foster dog - well, he's playing, she's tolerating (that's our Nickie, a super dog also)! Adoption fee is $200 and includes all medical.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see menu under "adoption info" for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING. 

We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it. This application has been developed using over 25 years of experience. It helps the adopter and us to make only the beginning of a good match; please be advised that if you do fill out the application, you may not be suitable for the dog you are applying for OR you may not meet our adoption requirements.
