Devee or D.v is a wonderful, 9 year old 6 to 8 lb. sweet little minpin female who is looking for a lap to spend her days.  She is extremely well-mannered and knows basic commands - she even stays when you tell her!  Devee has a sad story (as most of them do)...  her previous owner became seriously ill and could no longer care for her.  She was raised well and taken good care of.   Our vet says she seems to be in great health, including her teeth, so she has quite a few years left of love to give someone.

She is super loving, will put her arms around your neck and give hugs.  She snuggles right into your neck and just wants to be loved.  She would be great for a senior, quiet, home.  She gets along fine with other dogs, very respectful, not a barker, probably ok with cats.  She is crate trained, housetrained, does well in a car, and on the leash.  Her adoption fee is $150.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
