Grande is a 9 month old standard Xoloitzuintle aka Mexican hairless. He is charcoal in color, neutered and housebroken. Would make a wonderful companion in the right situation. Xoloitzuintle are an ancient Aztec breed and have special needs with skin and other issues. Grande wants to be alpha in the pack. He can only be placed with a larger submissive female dog or a home with no other dogs. Also because of his size and energy level, Grande cannot be placed with children. We are looking for an active person that can exercise him daily, be alpha, and has Xolo experience. Please serious inquiries only. Must fill out application at Resqac.com.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see menu under "adoption info" for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
