This solid cream colored little guy is Sandy, about 1 1/2 years old cairn terrier yorkie mix. He is quiet and a bit shy but very loving and sweet, just needs a caring hand to help him learn that the world is not all bad .Loves to be held but needs to learn to come when you call him. Partially house broken. He prefers a quite home with lots of patience and time to help him learn some good manners and bring him out of his shell.. With the right family and proper training he will make a wonderful loving companion. Lets give this little boy his so deserved chance to show his true personality. Sandy

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see menu under "adoption info" for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING. 

We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it. This application has been developed using over 25 years of experience. It helps the adopter and us to make only the beginning of a good match; please be advised that if you do fill out the application, you may not be suitable for the dog you are applying for OR you may not meet our adoption requirements.
