|
Tyson is such a gentleman. He is very loving, but also a very gentle, quiet sort of guy. He's been the one that always gets shoved to the back of the pack and overwhelmed by all the commotion.
He does have issues with other dogs; he'd prefer to be an only dog and not share his humans. He gets along well with other dogs, but when he's in your lap he gets very jealous and will snap to keep the other dog away. This is probably because he lived all his life in a pack of dogs, and attention from humans was limited. We suspect once another dog accepted him as the alpha, that he eventually would feel safe sharing attention.
Tyson is also the dog that would always be in your lap, looking up at you with love. He's the one who would always be at your side, ready to do whatever you asked. But he's also the one who probably isn't going to be adopted for a very long time. Its unfortunate, but there are so many chihuahuas and chihuahua mixes out there, needing to be rescued. And Tyson, being who he is, is going to get overlooked. Unless.... Maybe there IS that someone special out there who sees the love waiting to be shared in those big, brown eyes.
Minimal adoption fee to senior home.
Adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, flea treatment, heartworm test and preventative, wormings, and all other medical care needed to ensure a healthy dog. Fees vary, based on the care required, age and needs of the animal. We rely strictly on our adoption fees since we don't receive any outside funding.
Please read about our adoption policies and procedures before calling or emailing with questions. Many of your questions can be answered by reading our information. Keep in mind that the first step toward adoption is to fill out an application. Also, WE DO NOT SHIP!
